angels

The angels are wailing from above tonight, a bell blue melody raining from the heavens and falling on grey feathered doves. The air is light with mist and summer scent and the moon seems heaven sent amidst the glowing canopy of luscious leaves and silver trees. A swarm of bees interrupts the scene, being and buzzing in a bitter breeze. Underneath the ground the sun will set and let the ants communicate. Bats in their caves echolocate in pitches higher than the brightest angel voices. An octopus crawls through the forest on legs made fuzzy with sea salt and greets the lovebirds who mistake it for a tarantula. This fatal mistake costs them more than their lives as they're snatched out of the air by sea anemones disguising themseles as carniverous plants.
